An awesome review By Christa Boatwright- Hayne
My #officialreview of THE one, THE only #hydrosleeve OK I bought this at the St. George expo, despite the snickers of my hubby and his jabbing at me and calling me a sucker (seriously, I'm kind of a sucker for a good sales pitch). So anyway, I brought it on our 4-miler #switchback run this morning, as we decided to run it backwards which makes 3 of the 4 miles a pretty rigorous uphill. The guy who developed it and is selling it gave me a small and medium sized sleeve and the product comes with two bladders and valves and holds 7.5 oz of water, or half a bottle for those of you not inclined to metric interpretation. So here's my thoughts: !!! Although it took some "playing with" to find the comfy spot on my arm for the angle, once on it didn't move. It felt snug without being uncomfortable and most importantly it didn't slosh and wasn't distracting. In order to grab a sip of water I kind of had to cross my arm in front of me, which resulted in a much needed upper body stretch anyway. The valve is perfectly designed to give you a bit of water by biting down on it just a bit, but didn't leak and didn't take a lot of effort to accomplish. Somewhere on mile 3 I felt a hand grab my arm and turn me around and next thing I know my hubby is trying to steal a swig, so now the jokes in him! Funny how a sip of water on a difficult run can make a world of difference! #runchat #greatproduct #runninggear #gear#geareviews #distancerunning #trailrunning #hydrate like a #boss
